We are preparing today for a better tomorrow.Job DescriptionThe Tax Analyst is a dynamic position that will report to the Payroll Director and will be primarily responsible for the coordination of all federal, state, and local payroll tax issues both internally and working with our tax service provider. This position will also provide tax support to the payroll processors.Audit employee data, tax set ups, requests, and escalationsReview and take appropriate action with notifications received from taxing jurisdictionsPrepares weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports and reconciliations.Supports the Payroll Tax Team during quarter end processingPartners with internal payroll teams to identify tax corrections and amendments that require processingResearches and provides analysis details on variances between the payroll systems and the payroll tax outsourcerMulti-state Payroll tax experiencePerforms preliminary analysis and research for discrepancies and recommends solutions to senior team membersEnsures that establishment complies with periodic tax payments, state and local information reporting, and other taxing authority requirements when filing amendmentsMaintain department specific files, audit documents, and other clerical dutiesExperience with ADP Smart Compliance and UKGCertified Payroll Professional (CPP) credentialsCompany's salaries estimated by third parties and may or may not reflect actual or total compensation.
