A global Law Firm is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to support accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing across a high-volume organization. Your Responsibilities
- Process payroll accurately and in accordance with company policies and legal requirements
- Enter and maintain employee information within the HRIS/payroll system
- Process payroll corrections and escalate complex issues when necessary
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Process wage garnishments, levies, and child support deductions
- Generate payroll reports and maintain accurate firmwide records
- Respond to employee payroll questions and research issues promptly
- Partner with HR and Finance to support seamless payroll operations
- Assist with payroll data audits and special projects
What You Need to Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3+ years of payroll experience
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and basic accounting functions
- Excellent attention to detail and advanced data-entry skills
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and diplomacy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Workday payroll experience is strongly preferred, particularly within a high-volume team environment
