Payroll SpecialistWe are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Payroll Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting full-cycle payroll processing, including accurate and timely weekly and/or bi-weekly payroll in a multi-state environment. Key duties include reconciling payroll, managing time and attendance data, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.The ideal candidate has experience with ADP systems, strong Excel skills, and a solid understanding of payroll processes.

This position also involves handling payroll inquiries, maintaining records, and assisting with year-end reporting. Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to multitask and collaborate effectively are essential for success in this role.ResponsibilitiesPerform daily payroll department operations and provide support to Payroll TeamManage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timelyReconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reportsUnderstand proper taxation of employer paid benefitsExecute time and attendance processing and interface with payrollProcess accurate and timely year-end reporting when necessary (W-2, W-2c, etc.)Qualifications2+ years of experience processing multi-state payrollWorking knowledge of payroll best practicesStrong knowledge of federal and state regulationsStrong PC skills including proficiency in Excel, Word and OutlookWorking knowledge of ADP Timekeeping, ADP Enterprise, and ADPRStrong work ethic and team playerHigh degree of professionalismAbility to deal sensitively with confidential materialStrong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skillsAbility to communicate with various levels of managementDecision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skillsOrganizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skillsRooms To Go Benefits:Medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchAssociate discounts including furnitureCompany paid life and disability insurancePaid time offEmployee Assistance ProgramWellness ProgramsAnd more!Rooms To Go is an equal opportunity employer.
