Our people centered ethos is evidenced through our strong Safety culture recognized for 2 consecutive years with the Highwire Platinum designation, as well as our employee recognition program, GCON's Greatest, which promotes daily teamwork and camaraderie that are central to a meaningful career.Key Responsibilities:Set up new employee information in CMiC (ERP software)Coordinate E-Time access with the IT Manager and Payroll & Benefits ManagerMaintain employee data updates in Proliant and CMiC, including pay changesProcess bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time using ProliantProcess off-cycle payroll runs (per diem, reimbursements, etc.) as neededEnsure completion of all employee termination checklist itemsManage unemployment claimsProcess garnishments and child support ordersReconcile monthly insurance invoices (health, dental, life, short-term disability)Stay current on federal, state, and local employment law changes and inform managementPartner with Payroll & Benefits Manager to improve processes and reduce manual workAssist employees with benefits (401k, health & welfare) and payroll-related questionsSupport Annual Benefits Open EnrollmentQualifications:High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 2 years of payroll processing experienceStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and follow established proceduresComfortable interacting with employees at all levels of the organizationPreferred Qualifications:Construction industry accounting experience or knowledgeExperience with Proliant payroll softwareExperience with WorkdayExperience with CMiC ERP systemSHRM certificationPhysical Requirements:Standing/Walking/SittingLegs: Must be able to climb stairsHands/Arms: Constant use of hands/fingers for mouse/keyboard/computer useVision: Visual acuity in near, mid, and far range.
