Payroll SpecialistPosition: Payroll SpecialistClassification: UnclassifiedLocation: Administration BuildingReports to: CFO and Human Resources SupervisorDeadline to Apply: July 10, 2026 or Until FilledPosition Available: August 2026Required:Associate's Degree in Accounting or a business related field or five years of payroll experience.Demonstrated proficiency with a variety of spreadsheet, word processing and data entry systems; experience with computerized accounting and recordkeeping systems preferred (MUNIS).Ability to prioritize and address multiple tasks and responsibilities.Possession of excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.No physical or mental restrictions that would, with reasonable accommodation, prevent performance of the essential job functions and responsibilities.Ability to adapt to constant and diverse changes in daily job responsibilities.Willingness to participate in job related training to improve job skills.Preferred:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a business related field.Experience with year-end accounting transactions and preparing for year-end audit.Successful experience, including internships, in a school or service agency performing duties that encompass bookkeeping, accounts payable and/or payroll.Responsibilities:See attached job descriptionSalary/Benefits:Commensurate with credentials and level of experience and in accordance with MPS salary schedule.
