We pride ourselves on precision, reliability, and doing right by the people who work for us and with us.Role SummaryWe're looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to assist with accurate, timely payroll processing for our workforce. This role will handle payroll administration, ensure compliance with applicable tax and labor regulations, and serve as a key point of contact for payroll-related questions across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess payroll accurately and on schedule for all employees, including hourly, salaried, and contract staff Calculate wages, deductions, overtime, bonuses, and other compensation elements Maintain payroll records and ensure data accuracy across pay periods Process statutory deductions and contributions (e.g., income tax withholding, social security/national insurance, health surcharge) in accordance with applicable jurisdictional requirements Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve employee pay inquiries promptly and professionally Support year-end payroll processes, tax filings, and audits Maintain compliance with wage and hour laws, tax regulations, and company policy Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure new hires, terminations, and status changes are reflected accurately in payroll Process leave balances, PTO, and unpaid leave adjustments Maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll and employee dataQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentCollege-level accounting coursework in accounting, finance, or a related field preferredCertification in payroll processingStrong attention to detail and communication skillsAbility to work independently with sound decision makingStrong problem-solvingKnowledge of payroll software and proficiency in Microsoft ExcelWhat We Offer Competitive compensation Graduated employer contribution toward health coverage starting at 60%401k eligibilityGenerous PTOHybrid scheduleComfortable work environment Opportunity to work with a growing, compliance-focused organization with an international footprintCore Group Resources is an equal opportunity employer.
