Payroll Sox Control AnalystOur client, a Aerospace And Defense company, is looking for a Payroll SoX Control Analyst for their Lakeland, FL/Remote location.Responsibilities:The contractor will provide subject-matter expertise to ensure that all US payroll processes, systems, and controls comply with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements and internal compliance policies.This role will work closely with the Human Capital Management Project, Payroll Operations, Finance, and Internal Audit teams to assess, remediate, and document control effectiveness as we transition to our new payroll technology.Identify, assess, and document key controls related to payrollStand up control testingDevelop and maintain control narratives, flowcharts and control matrices for audit evidenceRecommend and implement remediation actions for control deficiencies; track remediation statusDocument and provide guidance on payroll system changes to ensure SOX compliance is embedded in designAssist in risk assessments and updating of SOX control frameworkDeliver training and awareness sessions to payroll staff on control responsibilities and documentation standardsAssist in preparing status reports and dashboards for senior leadership and compliance leadRequirements:Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field (or equivalent experience)5+ years of payroll operations experience in a US based organization, 3+ years of direct SOX testing experience, preferably within Payroll or HRISProficiency with payroll systems - SAP Employee Central Payroll, SAP Employee Central, Strong excel/Power Query abilitiesProficiency in internal controls, Sarbanes OxleyDemonstrated problem-solving skills with data-driven decision makingExcellent written and verbal communication; ability to convey complex issues to non-technical audiencesDemonstrated knowledge of Payroll principles & processesCertified Payroll Professional (CPP)Strong SAP Employee Central systems experienceExperience with DCMA, DCAA, Internal-Auditing, and SAP Payroll compliancePrevious leadership experienceStrong Advanced MS Excel skills with proficiencies in using Excel related capabilities to build and automate data.Demonstrated staff level accounting skills confirmed through related work experience.Why Should You Apply?Health BenefitsReferral ProgramExcellent growth and advancement opportunities
