Payroll Program Manager

To support the launch of a new payroll offering, the full-time remote Payroll Program Manager will design onboarding processes, define success metrics, and serve as a senior point of contact for payroll partners while managing a small team. Key responsibilities Design and refine onboarding playbooks, support triage processes, and documentation for the payroll offering Define and track key performance metrics, providing regular reports on operational performance to leadership Manage relationships with payroll partners and oversee the Implementation Account Manager and Payroll Specialist, addressing escalated issues when necessary Required qualifications 3-5+ years in program/project management, implementation, or customer-facing operations leadership, preferably in fintech, HR tech, or payroll Experience in designing processes and playbooks for customer-facing functions People management experience or readiness to manage a small team Strong communication skills for explaining payroll mechanics to non-experts Experience with payroll, benefits, or embedded financial products is a strong plus
