We are looking for an individual who is experienced in payroll administration with a solid understanding of payroll regulations.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure effective service delivery through timely and accurate payments and withholdings for employees in the US, Canada, and Ireland. Additionally, you will maintain compliance, streamline payroll procedures for efficiency, and stay updated with current regulations and best practices.The candidate would be reporting to the Jersey City office 2 days/week.Responsibilities:Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all US, Canada, and Ireland employeesEnsure compliance with applicable laws and payroll tax obligationsManage payroll controls and reconciliations of payroll dataOversee payroll workload to meet operational requirementsSupports all internal and external audits and reviews relating to payroll operationsManages quarterly and year-end activities including wage reconciliation and W-2 productionSupervise and coach payroll staff, providing training as neededOversee payroll changes and system upgradesIdentify, implement, and manage continuous improvement activitiesMaintains data integrity of payroll informationCross-function collaboration with internal business departmentsAssist with special projectsQualifications:Solid understanding of federal, state, and local payroll laws, regulations, and complianceAbility to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks with competing deadlinesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve payroll discrepanciesDemonstrated ability to implement best practices and operational efficienciesExcellent oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholdersAbility to handle sensitive situations and maintain a high degree of confidentialityAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamGood judgment and decision-making skillsRequirements:Bachelors degree in accounting or a Business-related concentration7+ years of relevant payroll experience with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial roleExpert knowledge of Ceridian Dayforce or other similar automated payroll softwareProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
