Payroll ClerkThe Russ Darrow Group is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Payroll Clerk to support accurate and timely payroll processing across our dealerships. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, enjoys working with numbers, and thrives in a structured, fast-paced environment. Summary As a Payroll Clerk, you will be responsible for compiling, verifying, and processing payroll data while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. You will also serve as a resource for employees regarding payroll-related questions, helping to ensure a smooth and professional experience.ResponsibilitiesCompile and process payroll data, including hours worked, commissions, bonuses, and deductionsReview timesheets and supporting records to ensure accuracy and completenessCalculate wages, taxes, and deductions, ensuring all payroll entries are accurateMaintain and update employee payroll records, including tax withholdings, benefits, and compensation changesReview and reconcile payroll accounts and payroll-related general ledger accounts on a regular basisPrepare supporting schedules and documentation for month-end and year-end closing activitiesProcess payroll in a timely manner, including preparing and issuing paychecks or direct depositsPrepare payroll reports, including earnings, tax filings, and deduction summariesEnsure compliance with federal, state, and company payroll regulations and policiesRespond to employee payroll inquiries in a professional, timely, and confidential mannerMaintain organized records and a clean, efficient work environmentCollaborate with HR and accounting teams to ensure accurate employee data and reportingSupport additional administrative and payroll-related tasks as neededAbout Us The Darrow Difference is the foundation of our success – and we want you to be a part of it!
