To support the payroll functions of a rapidly growing company, the full-time Payroll Associate will manage payroll processing systems, ensuring timely and accurate transactions while maintaining compliance with regulations in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Maintain and review payroll processing systems for accurate and timely payroll transactions Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and facilitate audits Required qualifications Two to three years of related experience in payroll functions Knowledge of payroll preparation, reconciliation, and internal controls (SOX) Proficient with Google Office Suite and payroll software; experience with Rippling HRIS is a plus Understanding of accounting principles Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred
