Overseeing accurate and compliant payroll operations, the remote Payroll and Compliance Manager will manage payroll-related regulatory requirements, maintain strong internal controls, and supervise a payroll processor while collaborating with Human Resources on employee data and benefits. Key responsibilities: Review and approve payroll runs, including off-cycle payments and corrections Serve as the primary administrator for UKG Ready Payroll, overseeing system configuration and optimization Ensure multi-state payroll compliance, including tax withholding and adherence to wage regulations Required qualifications: 5-7 years of payroll experience, including multi-state payroll and compliance Prior experience managing or leading payroll staff strongly preferred CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) designation preferred Experience with payroll and HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, Paylocity) Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field
