We're seeking a Payroll Analyst to take ownership of payroll operations for approximately 700-750 employees across the U.S. and Canada. This is more than a payroll processing role. You'll be the go-to expert for payroll accuracy, reporting, reconciliations, compliance, and system optimization while partnering closely with Finance, HR, and leadership teams.

What You'll Be Doing
✅ Lead bi-weekly payroll processing across multiple states and Canadian jurisdictions
✅ Ensure payroll changes are processed accurately, including new hires, promotions, compensation adjustments, and terminations
✅ Analyze payroll data, reconcile accounts, and investigate discrepancies
✅ Prepare payroll-related journal entries and support month-end close activities
✅ Respond to employee payroll questions and resolve complex payroll issues
✅ Assist with payroll tax compliance, audits, reporting, and year-end processing
✅ Develop meaningful payroll reports and insights for HR, Finance, and leadership
✅ Serve as a Dayforce payroll expert, helping improve processes and system functionality
✅ Maintain strong payroll controls, documentation, and compliance practices
✅ Support shareholder transactions, including stock transfers, issuances, repurchases, and redemptions
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 4+ years of payroll experience
- Multi-state payroll processing experience
- Experience with payroll reconciliations, payroll accounting, and reporting
- Strong Excel skills and a passion for working with data
- Dayforce experience is highly preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines
