Payroll SpecialistThis is an in-office position. No hybrid schedule.Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.UKG Pro experience - HIGHLY PREFERREDPOSITION SUMMARYThis position is responsible for ensuring that employees are paid timely and accurately.Ensure bi-weekly payroll is processed accurately with limited issues for the organizationResponsible for facilities payroll to ensure all employees are paid accuratelyProcess new hires, increases and changes in UKG, reports are submitted timely, and audits are completed as requestedESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProcessing manual checks for distributionFollow and calculate all outside wage garnishments requests or judgments when required on an individual's paycheck.Maintain personnel database regarding salariesAnswer questions regarding paychecks, withholdings tax issues or wage adjustments from employees and help troubleshoot possible issues with payManage and maintain employee's accruals are accurateReport to department head regarding daily activities and issuesAddress and resolve employee complaints relating to the payroll systemPrepare reports to relevant departments about payroll, and other data as neededEnsure all government reporting requirements are submitted timelyConduct training new employeesVerify and process W2'sMulti-site managementAttention to detailWorks independently and holds others accountableEvery effort has been made to identify the essential functions of this position.
