Payroll Administrator
Administer payrolls in multi-currency, multi-entity environment.
Role Accountabilities
- Ensure gross and individual payrolls are accurate and timely, in coordination with US and foreign external payroll providers
- Ensure accurate employee benefit information is recorded and updated as necessary in payroll
- Ensure the accuracy of information submitted to, and received from, service providers
- Audit overtime and special pay as scheduled
- Prepare variance analysis reports prior to finalization of each payroll
- Manually record foreign payrolls to general ledger as necessary
- Ensure IRS and state regulations are applied correctly to the payroll in coordination with the external payroll provider
- Research and resolve federal and multi-state tax and reporting issues for payroll and benefits
- Prepare and process payroll for all foreign legal entities where necessary
- Reconcile key balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis
- Provide requested data for year-end external audits and tax filings
- Document payroll related processes through flow charts and other approved methods and update them periodically with changes
- Identify and recommend internal controls in payroll related areas
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive payroll information
- Test and implement 3rd party payroll changes and update work instructions accordingly
