Owning assigned payroll cycles end-to-end, the full-time Payroll Accountant will process payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees, manage employee changes and timekeeping, and ensure compliance with payroll regulations while working remotely. Key Responsibilities Run payroll processing for various employee classifications, including handling overtime, bonuses, and corrections Process employee changes and timekeeping, ensuring accurate approvals and compliance with state requirements Prepare payroll journal entries and reconcile payroll accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience 3+ years of full-cycle payroll processing experience, including multi-state payroll Working knowledge of payroll tax compliance and wage-and-hour regulations Experience with payroll reconciliation and maintaining audit-ready documentation Strong spreadsheet skills in Google Sheets or Excel for reconciliations and variance analysis
