Job Overview

We’re currently seeking a senior professional to lead Payment Operations for Treasury & Trade Solutions, responsible for managing multiple teams and coordinating with the Transaction Capture team. You will oversee operating results, budgeting, planning, and strategy implementation while ensuring operational effectiveness and resilience.

Key Responsibilities

• Accountable for managing a complex operational function and disciplinary area.
• Contribute to short‑ to medium‑term planning, overseeing budget and policy formation.
• Lead change initiatives, resolve escalated complex issues, and balance conflicting needs.
• Present and analyze data to develop solutions that improve productivity, eliminate inefficiencies, and reduce costs.
• Implement and manage a risk/control environment to ensure integrity of processes and outcomes.
• Act as an advisor and coach to newcomers and junior staff across multiple departments.
• Assess risk in business decisions, adhere to compliance, and enforce policies with transparency.
• Build future‑ready teams by developing AI skill sets and promoting an AI‑first mindset.
• Lead regulatory engagements, ensuring compliance with local regulations and reviewing new regulatory impacts.
• Represent Citi PH in industry forums, including Domestic Dollar Settlement Clearing.
• Own business activity for operational matters and processes with partners, adhering to the Third Party Management Framework.
• Drive automation and process optimisation with key stakeholders.
• Ensure the operational resiliency plan is current and supports crisis management for critical services.
• Escalate concerns early to secure senior support for remediation.
• Maintain open, transparent communication standards and promote learning and experimentation.
• Coach and mentor staff on succession planning and cross‑functional rotation.

Desired Experience and Skills

• 10+ years of experience in a related role.
• Proficiency in internal and external stakeholder management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and intermediate problem‑solving abilities.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Master’s degree preferred.
