Payment Accuracy Specialist

To support a growing healthcare recovery team, the full-time Payment Accuracy Specialist 2 will develop and execute audit concepts, train team members, and analyze client data to identify recoverable claims while working under moderate supervision. Key responsibilities Develop new and existing audit concepts and train team members on audit projects Conduct audits of client data to identify billing compliance issues and generate high-quality recoverable claims Utilize advanced auditing tools and methodologies to analyze complex claims and recommend process improvements Required qualifications High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred with 4-6 years of related healthcare experience At least 3-4 years of experience with Cotiviti is recommended for internal candidates Strong knowledge of healthcare industry practices, including claim adjustments and reimbursement policies Proficiency in Microsoft Office and previous SQL experience strongly preferred Ability to analyze large data sets and identify trends or discrepancies effectively
