Responsibilities
- Lead a team of employees and provide training, inspiration, and guidance to help each team member develop their potential.
- Coordinate work schedules with the center manager; oversee front office operations; assist in interviewing potential candidates for front office positions; relieve staff for vacation and sick-time coverage.
- Greet incoming patients and visitors in a friendly, service-oriented manner; act as a liaison between physicians and patients.
- Register patients, obtain proper insurance and patient information, collect signatures, and ensure accuracy and completion of necessary documentation; verify and update changes in patient/physician/insurance data for proper billing; collect co-pays and fees.
- Answer phones and schedule patients; guide patients through processes and address questions and concerns.
- Notify appropriate team members of patient arrival and coordinate with back-office staff for timely care of patients.
- Participate in meetings; assist in implementing and administering procedures and best practices to streamline center operations.
- Participate in and/or lead projects to support center operations and quality patient care; safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information; safeguard on-site medications per policy and legal requirements.
- Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers; respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities; interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
- Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships; demonstrate ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

Qualifications
- At least 3+ years of experience as a Patient Service Representative within a radiology center.
- High school diploma.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, computer skills, problem-solving abilities, and ability to build and maintain a strong team environment.
