Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Patient Service Representative will manage inbound and outbound communications for multiple ambulatory practices, addressing patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and ensuring accurate documentation of patient information. Key responsibilities Communicate with patients and staff using various advanced communication tools to resolve inquiries and provide information Utilize a computerized scheduling system to manage patient appointments and ensure timely follow-ups on patient concerns Attend training sessions and assist in the orientation of new personnel while identifying process improvements to enhance patient experience Required qualifications A minimum of a High School diploma or GED is required Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Ability to explain complex healthcare issues empathetically to patients Effective interpersonal skills for collaboration within a diverse team environment Experience using multiple advanced communication tools, including phone, email, and online chat
