Primary Duties
- Serve as the initial contact person at the medical practice or hospital department and greet patients in a courteous and professional manner.
- Manage the intake of patients into the practice, screen for emergent conditions, register, verify, and explain patient responsibility for payment.
- Perform check‑in and check‑out procedures by inputting patient charges and verifying demographic and insurance information.
- Coordinate efficient patient flow through the practice or hospital department assigned.
- Support organization initiatives related to new technology, clinical programs, and improving the patient experience.
Qualifications
- 6 months to 1 year of providing high quality customer service required, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Working knowledge of IDX/GE Centricity business preferred.
- High School Diploma.
Minimum Qualifications
Position has a hiring range of $18.70 - $32.72.
