To enhance patient financial experiences, the full-time Patient Financial Advocate will serve as the primary contact for patients regarding billing inquiries, provide clear financial explanations, and facilitate payment arrangements while working remotely. Key Responsibilities: Answer inbound patient calls and explain billing statements, account balances, and payment options Educate patients on insurance processing timelines and assist with financial assistance eligibility Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies Required Qualifications: High school diploma Minimum 2 years of physician billing or revenue cycle experience Experience reviewing patient accounts and explaining insurance benefits Basic knowledge of insurance terminology (EOBs, deductibles, coinsurance, etc.) Proficiency in medical practice management systems (NextGen experience preferred)
