To support the Atrium Health Behavioral Health Registration team, the full-time Patient Connection Specialist will manage incoming calls, maintain patient privacy, and facilitate requests while working remotely after an initial 90-day orientation period. Key responsibilities Utilize a telephone answering platform to efficiently handle calls across multiple areas Maintain expert knowledge of database applications and ensure compliance with patient privacy standards Engage in active listening and critical thinking to identify and address caller needs effectively Required qualifications High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred One year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred Experience with Microsoft Office, CRM Software, and EMR Software is preferred Superior customer service skills and/or call center experience preferred Knowledge of principles of growth and development appropriate to the patient population served
