Our client, a leading healthcare organization dedicated to providing exceptional patient care, is seeking a Patient Checkout Representative to join their team. As a Patient Checkout Representative, you will be part of the Front Office Support team supporting patient services and administrative operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a compassionate attitude, and strong organizational abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

Greet patients in a professional and courteous manner during the checkout process.

Schedule follow-up appointments, procedures, and referrals as directed by providers.

Collect co-pays, balances due, and other patient payments accurately.

Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information to ensure records are current.

Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with appointment-related questions, maintaining excellent customer service.
What's Needed?

High school diploma or GED required.

Previous experience in medical office, customer service, or administrative roles preferred.

Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect effectively with patients and team members.

Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment with excellent organizational skills.
