To support the financial operations of a healthcare facility, the full-time remote Patient Accounting Representative will manage billing and follow-up for hospital claims, ensuring compliance with regulations and optimizing revenue through timely submissions and denials resolution. Key responsibilities: Perform accurate and timely billing of insurance claims in compliance with regulations and payer guidelines Expedite larger dollar accounts to ensure prompt payment and revenue optimization Follow up on payments, resolve denials, and document all actions taken on accounts Required qualifications: Minimum one (1) year of collections or administrative experience High school diploma Demonstrated ability to perform clerical functions and basic accounting procedures Knowledge of medical insurance claims processing is preferred Experience with Medicaid, Medicare, and Commercial payer requirements is a plus
