Managing Revenue Cycle accounts receivable, the full-time Patient Accounting Representative II will ensure prompt payment of payer and patient payments while collaborating with various departments to drive collections, working onsite in Cincinnati, OH. Key responsibilities Communicates directly with payers to follow up on outstanding claims and achieve timely reimbursement Monitors denial reason codes and collaborates with relevant departments to resolve issues Analyzes data to track collection efforts and provides updates and improvement ideas to the team Required qualifications High School Diploma or GED; Associate degree preferred 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in Revenue Cycle and/or Epic Revenue Cycle applications Strong understanding of claims management and third-party payer guidelines Ability to maintain compliance with HIPAA guidelines Experience in training and educating follow-up staff as needed
