Providing exceptional customer service, the full-time Patient Account Associate - Colorado will remotely manage payment details, research and validate payment postings, and initiate payer recoupments while ensuring timely account resolution. Key responsibilities Identifies and saves appropriate payment details while ensuring accurate account handling Researches and validates payment postings, making necessary adjustments to resolve accounts Initiates payer recoupments and refunds, following established procedures for account resolution Required qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required One (1) year of experience in hospital or physician back-end revenue cycle (Payment Posting, Billing, Follow-Up, Collections) required Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare billing regulations required
