To enhance patient experiences, the full-time Patient Access Resource Specialist will serve as the primary contact for new patient scheduling, coordinating appointments and managing patient information while working remotely. Key responsibilities Accurately verify and update patient demographic and insurance information while creating new medical records as needed Manage incoming calls and referrals to schedule appointments, ensuring optimal care coordination and addressing patient inquiries Contribute to patient satisfaction initiatives by resolving issues and maintaining high-quality customer service standards Required qualifications One year of experience in a medical office setting with high-volume patient contact or one and a half years in a public contact role with six months in a medical office Thorough knowledge of patient access services policies and procedures, along with advanced user skills in applicable systems Basic computer skills, including proficiency in word processing and online scheduling applications Ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail Demonstrated effectiveness in handling confrontational customer interactions with strong customer service orientation
