Job Title : Patient Access Representative

Location : San Luis Obispo, CA 93405

Duration : 2+ months contract (Possible extension )

Education : High school diploma or GED.

Shift Details : M - F. 8 am - 5 pm

Job Description:

• Greet and register patients for outpatient, inpatient, or emergency services.
• Confirm insurance eligibility and benefits; obtain authorizations/referrals as needed
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding patient balances at time of service
• Answer high-volume phone calls and manage patient inquiries professionally
• Enter and update patient information accurately in EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech)
