Acting as the first point of contact for customers, the full-time Patient Access Representative will manage inbound and outbound calls, schedule patient appointments, verify insurance information, and provide exceptional customer service while working remotely Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. Key responsibilities Link the patient experience between PACT and practice sites by utilizing facility/provider information and established policies Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments while ensuring accurate demographic and insurance information is obtained and updated Handle complex inquiries and escalate issues as necessary, while adhering to guidelines for emergency call handling and customer service standards Required qualifications High School Graduate 0-1 year of experience in a call center, healthcare, or customer service-related role Basic knowledge of medical terminology is helpful but not required Ability to operate a multiple-line telephone system Familiarity with desktop software packages and basic computer skills
