Pathways Physician

Optum NY (formerly Optum Tri-State NY) is seeking a remote Pathways Physician to join their clinician-led care organization. This role offers an opportunity to be an integral part of Optum's vision to improve healthcare, providing clinical resources, data, and global organizational support. Physicians will contribute to advancing community health and implementing new practice ideas to enhance patient care.

Practice Info

• Learn how to operate and thrive in a value-based care model in a system that is driving population health initiatives nationally
• Grow exposure to the Quadruple Aim framework and various understandings of care settings
• Mentorship from experienced physicians within your future practice easing transition from training into practice
• The customized program will be completed at Optum Tri-State facilities in New York and/or virtually with deep exposure to primary and specialty care the practice environment that will require a commitment of only a few hours per month
• Optum NY/NJ was formed in 2022 by bringing together Riverside Medical Group, CareMount Medical and ProHealth Care
• As a Patient Centered Medical Home, Optum NY/NJ can provide patient-focused medical care to the entire family

Compensation

• Receive a generous guaranteed salary in your final year of training
• Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $39.60 - $59.86 per hour
• Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O.
• Must be transitioning into their final year of residency or fellowship or early into their final year
• Preferred candidate will be a local physician resident in New York
