CONTRACT: 13 weeks | No anticipated extension or conversion
START DATE: ASAP upon successful completion of all required onboarding and clearance requirements
• This is a 13-week, 100% onsite assignment.
• Candidates must have at least 1 year of pathology office/pathology-related experience.
• Candidates must have experience with medical terminology and medical transcription/documentation.
• Pathology terminology experience is required.
• Candidates must type 45-50 WPM and demonstrate strong transcription/proofreading accuracy.
• Typical workload includes approximately 50 reports/cases transcribed or proofread per day and approximately 15-20 reference lab/consultation cases per day.
• The role supports Tumor Board, Surgical Review Committee, consultation cases, and other internal conferences approximately 2-3 times per week.
• PowerPath LIS and WebHIS experience are preferred; candidates must be comfortable learning these systems if they have not previously used them.
• Minimum 1 year of pathology office or directly related pathology experience required.
• Experience with medical terminology and pathology terminology required.
• Experience performing medical transcription, proofreading, and/or medical documentation processing required.
• Experience supporting a Pathology department, Pathologists, or comparable pathology workflow required.
• Experience working in a high-volume, detail-intensive healthcare environment.
• Experience managing multiple documentation and administrative priorities simultaneously.
