Jackson & Coker is seeking a Board Certified Pathologist for a locum tenens opportunity in Indiana. This role involves providing onsite coverage at a hospital-based lab, focusing on a diverse caseload of biopsies and cancer resections. Practice Info
- Will be physically onsite at a hospital based lab
- Caseload is around 60-90 cases per day divided between 3-4 pathologists and cytotechs
- Types of cases: Biopsies (General mix including: GI, GYN, Breast, GU, Liver and Skin), Cancer Resections (Breast, GYN oncology, Colon, etc.), Peripheral Blood Smear review, Non-Gyn Cytology
Responsibilities
- Review biopsies including GI, GYN, Breast, GU, Liver and Skin
- Review Cancer Resections including Breast, GYN oncology, Colon
- Perform Peripheral Blood Smear review
- Perform Non-Gyn Cytology

Shift & Schedule
- Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5:00pm
- Minimum 1 week per month starting September through December 2026
Requirements
- Active Indiana license is strongly preferred (willing to also consider candidates that have an active LOQ on file with the IMLC)
- Board Certification required
- Prefer candidates who are familiar with digital pathology
