Our team works at the top tier edge of memory innovation, partnering across design, integration, and modeling to enable what's next!As a Pathfinding Device Integration Engineer, you will work at the intersection of device physics, materials science, and process coordination. You will transform innovative concepts into data-driven solutions.

Your work will be critical to future device scaling and will directly impact Micron's long-term technology roadmap.Responsibilities:Identify and evaluate novel device concepts and material systems to enable future scaling and performance improvements.Lead as an integration owner to align materials and process flows into cohesive, actionable technology solutions.Build and implement experiments in the R&D fab to optimize device performance and manufacturability.Analyze inline, parametric, and probe data to evaluate operating mechanisms and sources of variability.Collaborate multi-functionally with modeling, characterization, reliability, and establish teams to guide technology trade-offs.Communicate sophisticated technical findings and strategic recommendations to leadership and diverse technical audiences.Minimum Qualifications:PhD or MS in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Applied Physics, or a related field.Strong foundation in semiconductor device physics and process integration.Proven record of innovation through patents, publications, or product-relevant solutions.Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with sophisticated semiconductor nodes or non-conventional device architectures.Working knowledge of semiconductor build, architecture, or materials characterization.Familiarity with TCAD, physics-based modeling, and statistical analysis tools.Background working in high-stakes R&D or technology pathfinding environments.As a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
