Overview
- Assists with patent application preparation and prosecution, patentability and clearance opinions, patent estate management, and patent licensing and enforcement for a diverse clientele.
- Handles high-level and strategic aspects of multiple legal matters simultaneously, from inception to conclusion.
- Requires a technical background, preferably a Bachelor's or advanced degree, in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Engineering Mechanics, Mechatronics Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or general Engineering.
- Expected to manage and generate business through group and individual efforts.
- Requires registration to practice before the USPTO.
- Indirectly supervises by actively utilizing support staff, patent agents, or junior associates.
- Travel is less than 10%.
