Job Overview

A law firm seeks a junior patent litigation associate with 1-3 years of experience to join its Washington, DC office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patent litigation and a technical degree, preferably in electrical engineering or computer sciences.

Duties

• Assist with legal research, discovery, briefing, and expert reports.
• Engage in patent litigation in federal district courts, the ITC, and/or the PTAB.
• Collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in patent litigation.
• Outstanding academic record.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Registered patent attorney preferred.

Education

• Technical degree, preferably in electrical engineering or computer sciences.

Certifications

• Registered patent attorney (preferred).

Skills

• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
