Duties:



  • Represent clients in a wide range of intellectual property matters, with a focus on patent transactions

  • Draft, review, and negotiate intellectual property-related agreements

  • Assist with patent prosecution and manage patent portfolios

  • Provide strategic counseling on IP matters involving innovation, licensing, and commercialization

  • Collaborate with attorneys and paraprofessionals across the IP practice group

  • Engage with clients ranging from early-stage companies to multinational corporations


Requirements:



  • Minimum of 3 years of experience handling intellectual property transactions

  • Prior law firm experience with a robust IP practice preferred

  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and handle complex IP matters

  • Strong interest in long‑term career development and partnership opportunities


Education:



  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

  • Solid academic performance required; top‑tier law school preferred


Certifications:



  • Active bar membership in good standing in the State of California

  • Admission to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) required


Skills:



  • Deep understanding of U.S. patent law and related IP legal frameworks

  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and legal analysis skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
