Patent Associate
A respected California-based law firm with a growing intellectual property practice is seeking a Patent Associate to join its collaborative team. This attorney will work closely with experienced practitioners on a wide range of intellectual property matters for clients ranging from emerging companies to Fortune 500 organizations.

Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on a broad range of intellectual property matters
- Support intellectual property transactions and portfolio management initiatives
- Draft, review, and negotiate IP-related agreements
- Counsel clients regarding patent strategy and protection
- Collaborate with attorneys, technical professionals, and client stakeholders
- Assist with domestic and international intellectual property matters
- Contribute to business development and client service initiatives
Qualifications
Required
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active California Bar membership
- Admission to practice before the USPTO
- Minimum 3+ years of intellectual property experience
- Experience handling sophisticated IP matters in a law firm environment
- Strong academic credentials and legal writing skills
Preferred
- Experience working with technology, life sciences, or innovative growth companies
- Strong client counseling and relationship management abilities
- Experience supporting complex intellectual property transactions
