We have been recycling metal in Lane County for over 25 years and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and hard-working person to join our maintenance team immediately.General Responsibilities:Drive light duty manual truck to pick up parts locally under the direction of our Parts Coordinator and Shop ManagerAssist with receiving inventory and entering inventory into the computer systemUnpack incoming merchandise, mark part numbers on articles and stock on shelvesMust have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.Must be able to lift regularly and or move up to 15 lbs and occasionally lift and move not more than 50 poundsForklift experience preferredPhysical Demands:Frequently required to reach with hands and armsAble to talk and hearStanding, sitting, walking, squatting, bending, lifting, reaching, and graspingDexterity of hands and fingersLift up to 50 pounds from the floor to waist level and carry such objects for at least 30 feetExposed to moving mechanical partsFrequently exposed to wet and humid conditions, heat, and outside weather conditionsThe noise level in the work environment varies from loud to very loudQualifications:Must be able to communicate effectively in English to understand instructions and emergency communications18 years of ageGood driving recordMust be able to pass background testReliable – good attendance is requiredWhat We Offer:Competitive payPTO starts at 2 weeks per year and increases with years of service8 paid holidaysCompany-sponsored medical, vision, and dental insuranceAnnual safety boot reimbursement401kFree gym membershipStarting pay: $18/hr Full-time position at 40 hours per week
