Parts Manager- Air Compressor Division

Under the direction of the Senior Parts Manager, the Parts Manager will direct and coordinate the daily activities for their designated branch(es).

Essential Job Functions

• Responsible for ensuring parts and warehouse tasks are accomplishedin a timely manner using established procedures
• Assist with training parts personnel at hire and as needed forcontinued development
• Promote & sell parts over the phone and to walk-in customers
• Fill parts requirements of the service department
• Review and enhance performance and processes for maximum efficiency
• Identify and resolve internal/external customer parts issues
• Responsible for managing designated branch parts inventory andmeeting inventory goals
• Provide input to planning and budgeting
• Identify performance, process, and other expense problems and resolve
• Maintain an up to date knowledge of industry technology, includingcompetitive products

Additional Job Functions

• Assist with management responsibilities in the absence of SeniorParts Manager by collaborating with the appropriate member ofmanagement and/or HR when necessary
• May be required to support the sales and service department duringspecial circumstances such as vacation coverage
• Evaluate and reestablish yearly work goals

Experience and Skills

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (including physical andwork environment)

• Computer literacy is required, including a working knowledge ofMicrosoft Office applications (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Parts sourcing experience is preferred
• Incorporate time management skills on a continuous basis
• Well developed sales skills including excellent oral and writtencommunication skills
• Basic mechanical and technical aptitude
• Proven interpersonal skills with both internal and externalcustomers, including being a team player to create synergy within theoffice and company
• Basic marketing knowledge
• Ability to handle working in a NON-climate controlled environmentfor extended periods of time
• Required to wear proper PPE (personal protective equipment)including steel toed shoes
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
• Must operate forklift vehicle
• Must be able to handle high pressure situations and adapt well tochanges in the market
• Prioritize work assignments
• Must be bilingual

Minimum Job Qualifications (education, work experience, licenses/certifications)

• Associates degree, or 2 to 4 years of parts sales/managementexperience (industrial sales preferred), or an equivalent combinationof education and experience
