Our client, a global manufacturer of heavy equipment and capital equipment solutions, is seeking a Parts Director to lead its North American spare parts business operation spanning inventory strategy, distribution, pricing, and profitability. You’ll oversee a large, highly automated distribution center, manage a 3PL partner, and lead a unified parts organization across dealer and direct-customer channels.
What you’ll do:
- Set inventory, forecasting, and replenishment strategy across a large, high-SKU parts catalog
- Run day-to-day distribution operations and own key operational metrics
- Improve parts availability and service for both dealers and direct customers
- Lead new systems rollouts (including CRM) to modernize the parts business
- Own and manage Parts P&L
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related); MBA a plus
- 10+ years in aftermarket, service parts, supply chain, or heavy equipment operations
- 5+ years leading multi-site or national supply chain operations
- Background in heavy equipment, automotive, or capital equipment strongly preferred
- SAP or similar ERP experience; APICS/ASCM or Lean Six Sigma a plus
- Comfortable with occasional international travel
Compensation: Base salary $135,000–$165,000, plus 20% bonus eligibility
