Title: Partnerships Associate, Private Equity
Location: New York City (4 days in-office, Fridays remote)
Compensation: $125,000-$150,000 Base Salary + Bonus, Equity & Benefits
We're partnering with a rapidly growing Series A AI company helping finance organizations automate complex workflows across accounts receivable and the broader Office of the CFO.
Backed by leading investors and experiencing rapid growth, the company is expanding its Private Equity Partnerships team and looking for a highly driven Partnerships Associate to help scale one of its most successful go-to-market channels.
The Opportunity
We're seeking an ambitious, analytical, and relationship-oriented Partnerships Associate to work directly alongside the Head of Private Equity Partnerships.
This role sits at the intersection of private equity, finance, go-to-market strategy, and artificial intelligence. You'll work directly with private equity firms, operating partners, CFOs, and portfolio company executives, helping turn strategic relationships into measurable revenue opportunities.
This is a high-ownership position that offers direct exposure to senior investors and executives, with the opportunity to build your own relationships and become a key contributor to the firm's long-term growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop targeted outreach campaigns for private equity firms, operating partners, and portfolio company executives
- Draft personalized email, LinkedIn, and executive-level communications to drive engagement
- Identify warm introduction pathways across existing networks and strategic relationships
- Conduct research on private equity firms, investment strategies, portfolio companies, and industry trends
- Prepare detailed briefing materials ahead of meetings with investors, operating partners, CFOs, and executive teams
- Support meeting execution by capturing key takeaways, action items, and follow-up opportunities
- Help activate portfolio company relationships and drive introductions across sponsor portfolios
- Build customized presentations, case studies, ROI analyses, and strategic materials for prospective partners
- Analyze channel performance metrics including engagement, meetings, pipeline generation, conversion rates, and portfolio penetration
- Support conferences, executive dinners, roundtables, webinars, and relationship-building initiatives
- Maintain CRM hygiene, reporting processes, and partnership tracking systems
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, automate processes, and increase operational efficiency across the partnerships function
What We're Looking For
- 2-3 years of professional experience in investment banking, private equity deal sourcing, growth equity, venture capital, transaction services, consulting, or sponsor-focused business development
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to evaluate financial, operational, and commercial information
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence engaging senior executives
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and execute with a high degree of ownership
- Strong commercial judgment and a natural ability to identify business opportunities
- Resourceful, self-directed, and comfortable operating without a predefined playbook
- Bias toward action and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Interest in private equity, finance technology, AI, and go-to-market strategy
- Experience using CRM systems and managing complex relationship pipelines is preferred
What Success Looks Like
During your first several months, you will:
- Build scalable processes around private equity relationship management, portfolio mapping, and opportunity tracking
- Improve the quality and speed of preparation for high-value investor and executive interactions
- Help accelerate opportunities from initial conversation through portfolio activation and pipeline creation
- Create meaningful leverage for senior partnership leadership by driving execution and operational excellence
- Develop a strong understanding of the sponsor ecosystem and how partnerships translate into revenue growth
Over time, success will mean becoming a trusted member of the partnerships team who can independently manage relationships, identify opportunities, represent the company externally, and help shape the long-term growth strategy of the private equity channel.
