Job Summary

A Partnership Liaison is responsible for physician and practice outreach for internal physicians. In accordance with enterprise and local strategic priorities, this role will establish and foster relationships with physicians, practice managers and/or schedulers to grow and develop USPI center case volume and service lines. The primary focus is supporting credentialing, onboarding, and increasing procedural time access, while ensuring all interactions comply with the Company’s Standards of Conduct and related policies.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct in-person visits to key stakeholders at proceduralist physician offices to increase center selection for cases.
  • Identify trends in providers’ utilization of the USPI center and facilitate discussions to understand underlying dynamics and decision-making behind facility selection.
  • Coordinate with Operations to optimize existing block times and enhance providers’ access to procedural time.
  • Conduct face‑to‑face sales meetings, emphasizing the center’s attributes, specialty capabilities, processes, and patient experience & safety outcomes.
  • Follow up with physicians and practice managers to clarify desired needs and overcome obstacles to grow case volumes.
  • Communicate client feedback and partner with facility resources to expedite credentialing, onboarding of new physicians, and resolve retention issues.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, measuring case volume growth and identifying trends, lessons learned, opportunities, and improvement areas to meet facility and market goals.
  • Continuously adapt and execute business development tactics based on provider and facility leader feedback.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the market hospital, ambulatory surgery, and provider landscape within the defined service area.
  • Document all client engagement promptly in the defined CRM tool, noting outcomes and required follow‑up.
  • Support implementation of service line expansion, extended hours, case cancellation recapture, and related initiatives as directed by Business Development and Operations leadership.
  • Perform all duties with consistently high ethical standards and strict adherence to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Education
    • High School diploma or GED required.
    • Associate’s degree preferred.
    • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
  • Minimum Experience
    • 2–5 years in a field related to health system physician relations, pharmaceuticals, or medical devices.
  • Other Requirements
    • Demonstrated success in a business development or sales role.
    • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills.
    • Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to travel within the market.
    • Selected candidate will be required to pass a Motor Vehicle Records check.
