Part Time – Telemetry Registered Nurse – Night Shift

This remote position involves admitting patients into the monitoring system and coordinating with bedside staff. It requires monitoring heart rhythms, communicating critical information, and ensuring patient safety. The role promotes patient-centered care by educating patients and families, developing individualized care plans, and assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs.

Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring patient heart rhythms and alerting staff to lethal rhythms for safety.
• Providing education on illness management, medication, and post-treatment care.
• Participating in activities that ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Developing and documenting care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
• Assessing patient needs and preferences, considering emotional, cultural, and spiritual factors.
• Maintaining alertness and safety as this is a safety-sensitive role.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Current RN license; MO and IL licenses preferred.
• 3+ years inpatient experience preferred; no supervisory experience required.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient education skills.
