Job Summary
Thriveworks is seeking licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners in California to provide telemedicine care to clients with mental health conditions. The Fee for Service (W2) position offers a salary range of $85,000 to $123,000 per year based on 15‑20 clinical hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations in an ongoing telemedicine capacity.
- Treat clients aged 14 and older.
- Prescribe medication to reduce mental health symptoms, as needed.
- Collaborate with clients to develop care plans.
- Complete and administer appropriate paperwork and assessment tools.
- Adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines.
- Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on clients, programs, and services at various sites.
Qualifications
- Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with board certification.
- Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in state.
- Experience in psychiatry: 1 year required; 3 years preferred.
- Comfortable using AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR (a plus).
- Completion of in‑house training and certification on ADHD treatment standards (all new hires are enrolled in the ADHD Clinic).
- Licensed and residing in the state in which the practice will occur.
