Part-Time Psychiatry Consultant

To support a psychotropic medication management program, the part-time Psychiatry Consultant will provide clinical consultation to PMHNPs, assist in policy development, and participate in strategy discussions, all while working remotely with a flexible schedule. Key responsibilities Provide clinical consultation and case support to PMHNPs, focusing on complex psychopharmacology and treatment planning Assist with the creation of policies and procedures in compliance with state and federal regulations Participate in occasional meetings for provider training and program strategy development Required qualifications MD or DO with an active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. state; additional licenses in TX, OK, and KS preferred Board certification in Psychiatry (ABPN) required Minimum 3 years post-residency experience in adult outpatient psychiatry preferred Experience collaborating with or supervising PMHNPs/APRNs is a plus Reliable remote setup for secure telecommunication and documentation
