Responsibilities Include
- Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations for clients aged 14 and up.
- Prescribe medications and develop collaborative care plans.
- Complete necessary documentation and adhere to clinical guidelines.
- Consult with regional directors and support staff on client care and services.
Qualifications And Skills
- Active licensure and board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
- Master’s in Nursing with prescriptive authority in the practicing state.
- At least one year of psychiatric practice; three years of experience preferred.
- Understanding of EMR systems such as AdvancedMD is a plus.
- Willingness to treat adolescents and adults, with training on ADHD standards and guidelines.
