Thriveworks Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Cornelius, North Carolina
Clinicians must be licensed and living in the state where they will practice.
Compensation
W2 position, 15-20 clinical hours per week, salary range $65,000-$94,000 per year.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric assessments and evaluations for clients in both in‑person and telemedicine settings.
- Treat clients 14 years and older.
- Prescribe medication to reduce mental health symptoms as needed.
- Create and collaborate with clients on individualized care plans.
- Complete and administer relevant paperwork and assessment tools.
- Adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines.
- Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on clients, programs, and services.
Qualifications
- Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (board‑certified).
- Master’s in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state.
- Understanding of AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is a plus.
- Minimum 1 year of psychiatric practice; three years of experience is a plus.
- Completion of an in‑house training and certification exam on ADHD treatment standards, guidelines, and approach.
