Position Overview
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP) will provide care to a diverse population of adults and adolescents in Quincy, Massachusetts. Clinicians must be licensed in Massachusetts and reside in the state.
Compensation
Fee for Service (W2) position with a salary range of $74,000 – $106,000 per year based on 15–20 clinical hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations of clients via telemedicine and occasional in‑person sessions.
- Prescribe medication to reduce mental health symptoms, when appropriate.
- Create and collaborate with clients on individualized care plans.
- Complete and administer appropriate paperwork and assessment tools.
- Adhere to Thriveworks Clinical Practice Guidelines.
- Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on clients, programs, and services.
Qualifications
- Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner—board certification required.
- Master’s degree in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in Massachusetts.
- One year of psychiatry practice required; three years of experience is a plus.
- Understanding of AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is a plus.
- Completion of in‑house training on ADHD treatment standards and a certification exam.
