Part Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Fee For Service

Thriveworks is currently seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners in Johnson City, Tennessee.

Clinicians must be licensed and living in the state where they will practice.

Compensation

This is a Fee for Service (W2) position, with salary range $61,000‑$89,000 per year based on 15‑20 clinical hours per week.

We do not incentivize stimulant medications. We refer substance use disorder cases when needed.

Our nurse practitioners provide care to a diverse adult and adolescent population with conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and more.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – Board certification required
• Master’s in Nursing with active prescriptive authority required in the state
• Understanding of AdvancedMD EMR is a plus
• At least 1 year of psychiatry practice; 3 years of experience is a plus
• Licensed and residing in Tennessee
• Part‑time availability for 15-20 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations via in‑person and telemedicine
• Treat clients aged 14 and older
• Prescribe medication to reduce mental health symptoms as needed
• Create and collaborate on care plans
• Complete and administer appropriate paperwork and assessment tools
• Adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines
• Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on clients, programs, and services
• Attend in‑person collaborator meetings at Thriveworks locations
